Inside

For her piece Inside, Adriana Kanal was inspired by the sting of a scorpion and the effects it caused on her body. A condition that leads to reflection on the animal and instinctive side of the human being. In her work, the scorpion is trapped in the resin mould of the temples. The transparent resin evokes the scorpion's venomous fluid, conveying a sense of paralysis and transformation at the same time.

Adriana Kanal is an independent Colombian fashion designer.

She has embarked on an artistic path that combines the worlds of fashion and visual arts, blending her background in costume design with her passion for craftsmanship. The artist creates art by transforming personal experiences into works that challenge the perception of reality.
