Fragmented Reality - Laced with Delight

“I am not so concerned with creating beautifully crafted
works but more so visually appealing experiences.”
Fragmented Reality - Laced with Delight
Fragmented Reality and Laced with Delight are two wearable sculptures that explore perception through contrast. One distorts and reflects, the other softens and balances, yet both invite a moment of pause, of looking closer.
Fragmented Reality plays with light and distortion, mirroring the environment and subtly revealing the self. The longer one looks, the more clearly one's own reflection emerges, a quiet meditation on how we perceive and are perceived.
Laced with Delight, in contrast, offers a delicate, feminine energy. Its intricate detailing and elegant softness counterbalance the darker frame, creating harmony through contrast. As a counterpart to Fragmented Reality, it reveals another side of vision, gentle, composed, and quietly powerful.
Together, the two pieces propose dual ways of seeing: fractured and fluid, graceful and grounded, reflections of how we navigate the complexities of self and surroundings.

Personal work
Fascinated by paradoxes and visual illusions, his interest in mirrors plays a central role in his practice and continues to appear throughout his projects. The work of M.C. Escher has long inspired him and remains a relevant influence, alongside ideas and memories drawn from childhood. His focus is not on creating finely crafted objects, but on offering visually engaging experiences.
