Santiago Rincón

Santiago Rincón transforms pasta into a language of ideas, reminding
us that even the simplest things can spark profound creation.
Pastienza
Santiago Rincón sees pasta as an idea: one with infinite shapes and endless interpretations. While many cook with it, Santiago, after observing it patiently, finds in its forms the spark that drives his art.
For him, enjoying life means learning to savour each breath, because that’s where meaningful ideas are born. These unique glasses are crafted with different types of pasta, fused with the projectframe. Visible magnets on the sides allow for playful customisation using the interchangeable accessories included in the box.
Pastienza celebrates observation, imagination, and the unexpected beauty of everyday things.

Colombia
Santiago Rincón is an artist from Bogotá, Colombia, who sees life as a web of connections, between memory and sensation, language and taste, the self and the world. His work often returns to the tongue, not just as a physical organ, but as a symbol: of expression, of flavour, of presence. Through it, he explores how we speak, feel, and digest experience.
Graduated in Fine Arts from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, Rincón's practice is guided by values he holds close — love, patience, and wisdom — with each piece reflecting a personal investigation into what it means to be alive and attentive.
Personal work
His art is shaped by moments lived with intensity, the kind that stay with us, becoming lasting memories. With careful observation and poetic insight, he gives form to his questions, translating inner reflections into tactile, thoughtful works. For him, creating is not just an act, it's a way of listening, of tracing meaning in the everyday, and of making visible the invisible ties that bind us all.
