Unicorno

“In my art I like to develop and work with mythological creatures”
Unicorno
With her work Unicorno, Iryna Ozarynska sought to create a piece that unites her family, their history, and her native country’s struggles. She incorporated black-and-white photographs from her family archive, carefully placed on the temples of the glasses. These images serve as memories preserved like pages from a personal album, carrying a unique and intimate value. Unicorno speaks of survival, unity, and the quiet strength of transformation, while softly whispering a hopeful message—that everything will be okay.
