Beyond what they see

MOODY

Blurring the lines between design and rebellion, MOODY opens
a space where identity unravels and possibility takes over.
Beyond what they see
MOODY’s Beyond what they see explores the liberation and celebration of multiple realities. Guided by his understanding of quantum mechanics, he believes reality is shaped through observation: we are defined by the gaze of others when we enter their worlds. But what happens when no one is watching? In that unobserved space, the true self emerges, expansive, undefined, and full of potential.
MOODY invites viewers into a world where identity is fluid and ever-shifting. Through graffiti, waste materials, and hidden messages, he challenges conventional perspectives, creating a space for free and experimental expression. This world allows multiple voices and perspectives to coexist. MOODY’s aim is not to dictate, but to open, encouraging the viewers to question their own realities and explore the endless possibilities of being.

Colombia
MOODY is an Industrial Designer who graduated from Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla with a multidisciplinary background that bridges technical precision and artistic exploration. His expertise in illustration, graphic composition, model-making, production, and finishing provides a foundation for his detailed, materially engaged practice.
Personal work
His artistic practice is a journey toward liberation, where reality dissolves and multiplicity are embraced. Through dioramas, drawings, paintings, and experiments with recycled materials, he explores the idea of transcending the body and existing across multiple dimensions. Inspired by the connection between the tangible and the intangible, his process resists linearity and fixed identity.
Using techniques such as graffiti and the re-signification of waste, MOODY creates spaces of freedom and experimentation. Hidden messages throughout his work invite the viewer to engage personally, to decode, and to enter a world where perspectives coexist and meaning is never singular.
