Etnia House of Arts is pleased to present Liturgia da Floresta Encantada – Rorschach of Reflections, an exhibition by Belgian artist Peter Bracke, conceived specifically for the Chiesa dell'Abbazia della Misericordia in Venice.
Working across photography, moving image and sound, Bracke explores the relationship between landscape, spirituality and perception through immersive installations shaped by years of research and travel.

Conceived for the Chiesa dell'Abbazia della Misericordia, the exhibition brings into dialogue two forms of sacrality: that of the Amazon rainforest and that of a religious architectural space.
Photography, video and sound suspend familiar representations of the tropical landscape, inviting visitors to experience the rainforest not as an image to be observed, but as a sensory environment where meaning emerges through perception."

At the heart of the exhibition, mirrored compositions created from reflections captured in the flooded forests of the Brazilian Amazon transform the landscape into shifting forms that reveal themselves differently to every viewer.
