Personal work
Ludovic's art embodies a poetic dialogue between painting and sculpture, where the precision of fashion design meets the freedom of fine art. His sculptures, adorned with meticulously crafted haute-couture dresses, are miniature celebrations of femininity, showcasing an intimate attention to detail born from years of crafting garments. Meanwhile, his paintings evoke fashion illustrations come to life, dreamlike yet grounded, where garments become allegories of identity and reverie.
His artistic language also dives deeper, blending psychoanalytic echoes with references to Lewis Carroll's surreal worlds and Tim Burton's whimsical darkness. These layers of influence mix with personal stories yet leave space for the viewer to bring its own interpretation.
