La danza de Moni e Andrea
In La danza de Moni e Andrea, Marcello Martinez Vega draws inspiration from two close friends—Moni and Andrea—whom he affectionately describes as “colorful birds.” They offered him two lens frames, which became the foundation for two playful, free-form artworks. Known for his meticulous approach, Marcello set aside planning in this instance, embracing spontaneity and joy as guiding principles. Shapes were picked up and discarded without fixed intention, much like the spirited conversations shared with these friends over dinners filled with art and ideas. The result is a light-hearted yet sincere experiment, born of friendship, freedom, and the pleasure of creation.

Personal work
Through highly symbolic forms, Marcello's art investigates the social, political, and cultural dynamics of our time, transforming them into universal reflections. Unconcerned with notions of 'good taste' his creations challenge the viewer to let go of learned judgments, offering instead an unfiltered encounter with raw energy and uncompromising expression.
